Job summary

BMO Financial Group is seeking a customer-focused Banking Associate to advise customers and prospects on financial solutions, guiding them through our digital and self-serve options.

As part of a collaborative branch team, you will identify referral opportunities, provide personal banking and investment guidance, and ensure a seamless, high-quality customer experience across channels.

Qualifications

• Typically between 1–2 years of relevant experience and/or certification in related field of study desirable or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Confident and experienced in the use of social media, tablets, Smart phones, online tools, and applications.
• Some experience in a consultative customer service or sales role.
• Basic knowledge of specialized sales and business banking solutions.
• Passionate commitment to helping customers.
• Drive to deliver a personal customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with BMO partners to identify referral opportunities and grow customer relationships.
• Welcomes and guides customers in-branch, offering guidance on digital/self-serve options.
• As a lobby leader, conducts conversations to recommend banking channels and provide advice.
• Meets transaction-based needs with seamless execution.
• Reviews customer profiles and identifies opportunities in everyday banking and credit cards.
• Contributes to branch business results and customer experience.
