Job summary

National Bank of Commerce in Wisconsin is seeking a Personal Banker II to understand customer needs and recommend NBC financial products. You will open business accounts and engage in consumer lending, including HELOCs, using strong sales and communication skills.

You'll work to grow relationships inside and outside the branch, partner with commercial lending and treasury teams, and ensure compliance with bank policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education preferred.
• At least two years of retail sales experience or comparable financial services experience.
• NMLS certification required to service HELOCs; background checks and licensing as applicable.

Responsibilities

The Personal Banker II is responsible for opening business accounts while also engaging in consumer lending, including HELOCs. This role requires strong sales and communication skills, including identifying prospects, engaging targeted customers, clarifying financial goals, resolving issues, and confidently closing sales.Personal Bankers at NBC are active members of the communities we serve and collaborate across all areas of the bank, including the teller line. This position supports the bank’s growth by meeting sales goals, building new relationships, and deepening existing ones while demonstrating genuine care for each customer’s financial wellbeing. Most responsibilities involve developing business inside and outside the branch, partnering with commercial lending and treasury management teams, and expanding financial expertise.
