What The Role Is

As a Personal Banker, you will provide best-in-class service by processing routine banking transactions while developing deep customer relationships and understanding their needs. You will identify and offer appropriate personal and business financial products, educate customers on transaction channels, and work cross-functionally within a universal banking model. This position is on-site and may require travel within the market.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Support transactional needs and identify opportunities to deepen customer relationships.
• Open and process deposit accounts, providing solutions for managing cash flow.
• Work effectively in a team environment with customers and colleagues.
• Assist with simple consumer lending products like personal loans and credit cards.
• Educate customers on online and mobile banking, interactive tellers, and ATMs.
• Meet or exceed sales/referral objectives as measured by scorecards.
• Handle cash and adhere to balancing procedures.
• Stay informed about products, fees, policies, and current offers.
• Assess customer needs and recommend bank services or refer to other departments.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant banking regulations and stay updated on changes.
• Participate in community activities and financial literacy initiatives to create positive community impact.

Who You Are

• Possess foundational sales and service skills with consumers and small businesses preferred.
• Have excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities.

Education

• High school diploma required; college coursework preferred.

Experience

• Previous banking or sales experience preferred.
• 2+ years of cash handling experience in banking or retail preferred.
