Job summary

Nicolet National Bank is hiring a Personal Banker I to drive new customers and relationships at the branch. You will serve as a trusted financial advisor, delivering personalized service across in-person, phone, and digital channels, and help customers with deposits, lending, and digital banking solutions.

Responsibilities include opening and servicing accounts, processing transactions, and referring customers to internal specialists to meet sales and service goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years customer service/cash handling; banking preferred.
• Customer service and communication skills.
• Needs-based sales and referral capability.
• Knowledge of deposits, digital banking, and consumer lending.
• Proficiency with systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a highly personalized and consultative customer experience across in-person, phone, and digital channels.
• Conduct deeper financial conversations to understand needs and recommend deposit, lending, and digital solutions.
• Open and service consumer and small business deposit and loan accounts; maintain documentation.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, payments, transfers, official checks, and related transactions.
• Refer customers to internal specialists to ensure a comprehensive financial experience.
• Meet and exceed sales, service, and referral goals.
• Educate customers on loan options and assist with loan applications.
• Maintain compliance in lending interactions.
• Research and resolve account discrepancies and issues.
• Adhere to regulations and operational standards; support teller operations.
• Participate in team huddles and community outreach.
