Fifth Third Bank in Ohio is recruiting for a Retail Personal Banker I program. Selected candidates will complete a 4-8 week onboarding with rotations in operations and Sales & Service, culminating in a certification to advance within the Retail Personal Banker family.

The role uses a consultative sales process to identify customer financial needs, cross-sell products, and build relationships while processing teller transactions and adhering to bank policies and risk controls.

Qualifications

College degree or work experience providing transferrable skills.
Experience in the financial industry preferred.
Ability to develop comfort with sales activities to acquire customers.
Understanding of advanced math for credit/financial analysis.
Professional appearance and communication is essential.
S.A.F.E. Act registration via NMLS required at employment.

Responsibilities

Use consultative sales to identify financial needs and set appointments.
Cross-sell Retail products to customers and assist with financial reviews.
Process teller transactions accurately as part of platform duties.
Refer customers to Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial and Investment partners when appropriate.
Maintain customer satisfaction with professionalism and a helpful demeanor.
