Job summary

UMB Bank is seeking a Personal Banker to deepen client relationships, recommend and sell banking products, and provide financial solutions. You will receive extensive training on UMB’s products, the sales process, and how to serve customers with a consultative approach.

Join a high-energy team focused on growth and customer experience, with mentorship from leaders and opportunities across Consumer banking. This role requires weekend/evening hours and a path to NMLS registration.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent is required.
• One year of retail experience with customers and product recommendations.
• Ability to obtain NMLS registration within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Convert transactions and service requests into cross-sell conversations.
• Create sales opportunities by calling leads and visiting businesses.
• Develop referral networks and achieve daily performance metrics.
• Learn cash handling, documentation, and banking processes per standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
