Qualifications

• College degree or work experience providing transferrable skills, or combination of education and experience.
• Experience in the financial industry preferred.
• Ability to develop comfort level with sales activities to acquire new customers and cross-sell.
• Understanding of advanced math functions for credit and financial analysis.
• Professional representation of Fifth Third Bank in appearance and communication.
• Knowledge of Retail policies and procedures and sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Use consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to profile customers and identify needs.
• Maintain knowledge of Retail products and propose suitable solutions.
• Proactively reach out to customers and set appointments for financial reviews.
• Cross-sell to existing customers and engage in outside sales activities.
• Work with partners (Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial, Investment) to provide holistic solutions.
• Meet/exceed customer experience and production goals and drive revenue growth.
• Guide CSRs on sales and referral processes.
• Promote customer satisfaction with a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Adhere to policies; handle risk by following procedures and reporting concerns.
• Participate in consumer loan and bankcard processes from application to closing.
• Assist in opening/closing Financial Center or Bank Mart per Manager instruction.
• Stay updated on procedures to mitigate fraudulent activity and risk.
