UMB Bank is seeking a Personal Banker in Arnold, MO to build lasting customer relationships and offer banking solutions. You will gain product knowledge through extensive training and work with leaders to mentor and grow in Consumer banking.

You’ll spend time asking targeted questions to identify needs, create cross-sell opportunities, and meet daily KPIs while following industry standards and branch hours, including some weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year retail experience with customer interactions and product recommendations.
• Ability to obtain NMLS registration within 90 days.
• Reliable transportation; ability to work branch hours, including weekends and some evenings.

Responsibilities

• Ask personalized questions to convert transactions and service requests into cross-sell conversations that deepen client relationships.
• Create sales opportunities by calling leads, visiting businesses to offer workplace banking, and developing referrals.
• Achieve daily performance metrics while balancing competing priorities.
• Learn processes like transactions, cash drawer management, and bank documentation per industry standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
