Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years old and a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of work experience in retail or customer service preferred.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Background investigation required by company policy.
• Ability to work with co-workers and in a team environment.
• Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and handle cash transactions in a high-volume sales environment.
• Evaluate customer relationships and recommend bank products and services to support financial success.
• Follow bank policies under supervisor guidance.
• Contribute to monthly new account production as assigned by management.
• Participate in an active sales environment and in-store prospecting.
• Process deposits and pay outs accurately, balance daily operations.
• Receive cash and checks, verify amounts and endorsements.
• Guard against counterfeit checks and improper identification.
• Enter transactions into the computer and issue receipts.
• Sell and prepare money orders, cashier's checks, wires and CDs.
• Process Western Union wires and cash advances.
• Cross-sell bank services and products.
• Provide services to a diverse customer base, including Spanish-speaking customers.
• Perform other tasks as requested by supervisors.
• Maintain reliable attendance.
• Understand and adhere to approval limits based on authority levels.
