1stnb in Plainview, TX is seeking a customer-focused Teller to join our team. You will handle cash transactions, promote banking products, and deliver excellent service in a busy branch environment. The role requires flexible hours and teamwork to meet sales and service goals.

Responsibilities include processing deposits, validating funds, and assisting customers with accounts while maintaining accuracy and compliance with policies. Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus.

Formación

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent or currently in high school.
• Six months of retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Must pass background investigation per company policy.
• Able to work well in a team.

Responsabilidades

• Provide exceptional customer service, handling cash in a high-volume sales environment.
• Evaluate and recommend bank products and services to support customers' financial success.
• Follow bank policies as directed by supervisor.
• Achieve monthly new account production targets as assigned.
• Participate in an active sales environment that may include in-store aisle prospecting.
• Process deposits and pay out funds accurately and balance daily operations.
• Receive cash and checks, verify amounts, and issue receipts.
• Examine cash to guard against counterfeit checks and identification.
• Enter transactions into computer and issue receipts.
• Sell and prepare money orders, cashier's checks, wires, and CDs.
• Process Western Union wires and cash advances.
• Cross-sell bank services to diverse customers, including Spanish speakers.
• Perform other tasks as requested by supervisors related to the bank's functions.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
• Approval limits based on authority levels.
