First Community Bancshares, Inc. is seeking a motivated teller to deliver exceptional customer service while handling cash transactions in a busy branch environment.

You will evaluate customer needs, promote bank products, and follow established procedures to maintain accurate daily balances. The role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and accurate record-keeping.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail or customer service environment preferred.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work in a team and with co-workers in a bank setting.
• Must pass background investigation according to company policy.

Responsabilités

• Provide exceptional customer service, handling receipt and payment of cash in a high-volume sales environment.
• Evaluate customer relationships and recommend bank products and services.
• Follow bank policies and supervisor directions.
• Achieve monthly new account production as assigned.
• Cross-sell bank services and assist diverse customer base, including Spanish-speaking customers.
• Process deposits, verify amounts, issue receipts, and balance daily transactions.
• Handle cash checks, money orders, wires, CDs and other bank services.
• Attend to duties with regular and punctual attendance.
