Fifth Third Bank in Jackson, MI seeks a Retail Personal Banker I who will participate in a 9-week onboarding program with rotations in operations and Sales & Service. The role emphasizes using a consultative sales process to identify and meet customers' financial needs and to acquire new households.

You will perform teller transactions, support cross-selling with partners, and represent the bank professionally while adhering to risk and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• College degree or work experience providing transferrable skills, or a combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated ability to develop comfort level with sales activities designed to acquire new consumer households and/or cross-sell to established customers.
• Ability to understand advanced math functions for credit and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build a thorough customer profile and identify current and future financial needs.
• Maintain knowledge of Retail products and services and recommend suitable solutions.
• Proactively reach out to customers and set appointments for periodic financial reviews.
• Cross-sell to existing customers and engage in outside sales activities.
• Establish relationships with partners and refer customers for holistic financial solutions.
• Meet or exceed customer experience and production goals and support year-over-year revenue growth.
