Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking candidates to join a structured onboarding program in California, rotating through operations and Sales & Service within a financial services context.

You will use consultative sales processes and Financial Needs Assessments to identify customer needs, cross-sell products, and build referrals with banking partners, while ensuring compliance and high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• College degree or work experience providing transferrable skills, or combination of education and experience.
• Experience in the financial industry preferred.
• Ability to develop comfort with sales activities to acquire new consumer household and small business customers and/or cross-sell to established customers.
• Understanding of advanced math functions for analysis of credit and financial information.
• Professional appearance and verbal/written communication.
• Ability to develop working knowledge of Retail policies and procedures.
• S.A.F.E. Act registration at the time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS)
• Ability to travel within the affiliate for training
• Ability to travel outside the affiliate for classroom training
• Scheduling flexibility

Responsibilities

• Complete a 4–8 week onboarding and education program with rotations in operations and Sales & Service.
• Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to identify customer financial needs.
• Recommend Retail consumer and small business products and services.
• Use CAMP and approved marketing tools to contact customers and set financial review appointments.
• Cross-sell to existing customers and participate in outside sales activities.
• Build relationships with Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial, and Investment partners and make referrals.
• Meet customer experience and individual/team production goals.
• Provide guidance to CSRs on sales and referrals.
• Promote customer satisfaction and resolve customer issues.
• Process teller transactions and work as platform staff.
• Participate in consumer loan and bankcard processes from application through closing.
• Participate in Financial Center or Bank Mart opening and closing.
• Follow risk management, fraud prevention, confidentiality, ethics, and operational policies.
