PERSONAL BANKER

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for delivering excellent customer experiences to current and potential customers. Displays effective communication skills and exhibits knowledge of products and services offered. Identifies sales opportunities that will result in superior customer service connections.

JOB DUTIES:

  1. Accurately processes customer transactions and safeguards against fraud. Maintains 90% transaction and balancing record.
  2. Has basic knowledge of Dart Bank products and services.
  3. Assists customers with deposit account openings and maintenance requests.
  4. Identifies appropriate products through needs-based questioning to build and deepen customer relationships.
  5. Ensures compliance with all Bank policies and procedures and federal regulatory guidelines, following all compliance related policies, including audit and security procedures. Ensures all work is completed accurately and follows up with any outstanding customer or operational issues.
  6. Provides superior customer service and proactively resolves all customer issues. Will work with a sense of urgency to meet and exceed customers’ needs and expectations, while taking ownership and accountability of customer issues and complaints.
  7. Responsible for sales goals to expand the customer base through consultative sales techniques and Customer Relationship Management program.
  8. Performs a wide variety of customer service transactions as needed, and other duties as assigned by management. Is available to work in any Dart Bank Office as assigned.
  9. Demonstrates behaviors consistent with and holds other accountable for behaviors consistent with our Dart Bank Commitment.
  10. Adheres to all Federal and State laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act.
  11. All other duties as assigned.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent, some additional education in banking and/or financial planning would be helpful.

Skills: Excellent communication skills; strong problem-solving skills; good computer skills.

Experience: Experience in sales is desirable, banking experience preferred. Completes all training including Compliance and Educational requirements of position.
