AdventHealth in Altamonte Springs, FL is seeking a Member Services Specialist to join our team. You will respond to inquiries, open accounts, process loans, and promote credit union products while handling daily banking tasks in a fast-paced environment.

We value strong communication, a proven sales track record, and 2+ years in lending or customer service. Knowledge of AML/BSA regulations and basic data entry skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of call center or customer service experience.
• 2+ years of experience in consumer lending.
• Knowledge of BSA/AML compliance and related regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi-task and maintain detail orientation.
• Proven sales history and customer-focused approach.
• Proficient in computer systems and data entry (min 20 wpm).

Responsibilities

• Reviews reports, prepares correspondence, and participates in department projects.
• Processes mail, files, and image documents.
• Maintains member databases and follows up on inquiries.
• Responds to member inquiries via phone and email with prompt, courteous information.
• Opens new accounts and updates member information.
• Promotes marketing campaigns and cross-sells credit union products.
• Identifies sales opportunities during member interactions and promotes products/services.
• Resolves account issues including reversals and changes.
• Handles routine daily banking tasks and payments.
• Greets members and guides inquiries to appropriate directions.

Job Description

• Reviews reports, prepares correspondence, and participates in special department projects.
• Processes mail and drop box items, files, and images documents.
• Maintains customer/potential customer databases and follows up on initial contacts.
• Responds to member inquiries via telephone and electronic channels, providing prompt, accurate, and courteous information.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Opens new accounts and updates existing member information.
• Promotes various marketing campaigns and cross-sells credit union products.
• Identifies sales opportunities during member interactions and actively promotes credit union products and services.
• Resolves account issues, including fee reversals, posting errors, payroll deduction changes, and minimum payment requirements.
• Troubleshoots plastic card problems, such as activations, fraud claims, processing errors, and new or replacement orders.
• Processes loan applications, interviews applicants, disburses consumer loans, and conducts follow-up.
• Handles routine daily tasks, including account balance inquiries, transfer requests, stop payment orders, and changes of address.
• Greets members cheerfully and determines appropriate responses or directions for their inquiries.
