Salus Homecare is seeking caregivers to work from Carlsbad to La Jolla. Open to living anywhere in the area with 4, 8, or 12 hour shifts, seven days a week. Roles involve one-on-one client care, ADLs, meal prep, light housekeeping, and driving to appointments.

Requires CA HCA certification (or ability to obtain), TB test within 90 days of start, ability to work legally in the USA, and a valid driver’s license with insurance. English proficiency is required. Pay ranges from $18 to $23 per hour.

Qualifikationen

• CA state Homecare Aide Certification required or ability to obtain; Livescan fingerprinting for FBI background check provided by Salus.
• TB test must be within 90 days of start.
• Must be legally able to work in the USA.
• Physical capability to perform all job functions.
• Safe driving record and valid auto insurance if driving clients.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write English.

Aufgaben

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Bathing, grooming, personal care, meal prep, toileting, ambulation, medication reminders, social interaction, and more.
• Be oriented and well trained on all aspects of the client’s Plan of Care.
• Meal prep and cooking.
• Assist with light housekeeping (vacuuming, sweeping, changing linens, laundry, etc).
• Drive clients to and from medical appointments, grocery store, etc.

Responsibilities:
Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADL's)
Bathing, grooming, personal care, feeding / meal prep, toileting ambulation, medication reminders, social interaction, and more!
Be oriented and well trained on ALL aspects of the client’s Plan of Care
Meal Prep and cooking
Assist clients with LIGHT housekeeping (vacuuming, sweeping, changing linens, laundry, etc).
Drive clients to and from medical appointments, grocery store, etc
Qualifications:

• Homecare Aide Certification (HCA) - This is a CA State requirement which involves registering as a Personal Attendant and providing Livescan fingerprints for a FBI Background check - Salus can help you with this process if you are not currently certified.
• TB Test - Must be within 90 days of start
• Must be able to legally work within the USA
• Physical capability to preform all job functions
• Safe driving record and valid auto insurance if you will be driving with clients
• Ability to speak, write, and read English is a requirement

Pays $18 to $23
