Job summary

Salus Homecare - Orange County is looking for experienced personal attendants/caregivers who are dedicated and dependable to help improve the quality of life for elderly clients in Orange County, CA.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, bathing and grooming, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and transporting clients to appointments. Must have HCA certification, TB test within 90 days, legal work status in the USA, and a valid driver’s license with insurance if driving.

Qualifications

• HCA certification is CA state requirement (register as Personal Attendant, Livescan/background check).
• TB test within 90 days of start.
• Must be able to legally work in the USA.
• Physical capability to perform all job functions.
• Safe driving record and auto insurance if driving with clients.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.

We are looking for experienced personal attendant/caregiver, dedicated, and dependable professionals who enjoy working with the elderly and are committed to help improve their quality of life.

This job is located in Orange County, CA and surrounding areas:

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADL's)

• Bathing, grooming, personal care, feeding / meal prep, toileting ambulation, medication reminders, social interaction, and more!

• Be oriented and well trained on ALL aspects of the client's Plan of Care

• Meal Prep and cooking

• Assist clients with LIGHT housekeeping (vacuuming, sweeping, changing linens, laundry, etc).

• Drive clients to and from medical appointments, grocery store, etc

Qualifications:

• Homecare Aide Certification (HCA)- This is a CA State requirement which involves registering as a Personal Attendant and providing Livescan fingerprints for a FBI Background check - Salus can help you with this process if you are not currently certified.
• TB Test- Must be within 90 days of start
• Must be able to legally work within the USA
• Physical capability to preform all job functions
• Safe driving record and valid auto insurance if you will be driving with clients
• Ability to speak, write, and read English is a requirement

Range: $18-$23 dollars per hour
