Job summary

Salus Homecare is looking for caregivers to work from Carlsbad to La Jolla. Shifts include 4, 8, or 12 hours, seven days a week, with day and night options.

Certification and background checks are required (HCA CA State). TB test within 90 days, legal USA work status, and valid auto insurance if driving. English proficiency is a must. Training on each client's Plan of Care will be provided.

Qualifications

• HCA certification and CA state registration.
• TB test within 90 days of start.
• Must be able to legally work within the USA.
• Physically capable of performing all job functions.
• Valid auto insurance if driving clients.
• English reading/writing/speaking required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADL's).
• Bathing, grooming, personal care, feeding / meal prep, toileting ambulation, medication reminders, social interaction, and more!
• Be oriented and well trained on ALL aspects of the client’s Plan of Care.
• Meal Prep and cooking.
• Assist clients with LIGHT housekeeping (vacuuming, sweeping, changing linens, laundry, etc).
• Drive clients to and from medical appointments, grocery store, etc
