Job summary

Salus Homecare - San Diego is seeking caregivers to support clients from Carlsbad to La Jolla. Shifts include days and nights with 4, 8, or 12 hours available, seven days a week. This role focuses on one-on-one care in home settings.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, meal prep, light housekeeping, transportation to appointments, and following each client's Plan of Care. Must have CA HCA certification, TB test, and be legally eligible to work in the USA.

Qualifications

• CA HCA certification or eligible in CA.
• TB test within 90 days of start.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the USA.
• Good physical ability to perform all tasks.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance if driving.
• English reading/writing/speaking required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) and personal care.
• Bathing, grooming, meal prep, and medication reminders.
• Follow the client’s Plan of Care and stay trained on all aspects.
• Meal prep and light housekeeping tasks.
• Transport clients to medical appointments and errands.

Salus Homecare is looking for caregivers that are able to work from Carlsbad to La Jolla. We are looking for candidates that are available Monday to Sunday 7 days a week hours available are 4 hours, 8 hours, and 12 hours. Clients are one on one and shifts are days and nights

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADL's)
• Bathing, grooming, personal care, feeding / meal prep, toileting ambulation, medication reminders, social interaction, and more!
• Be oriented and well trained on ALL aspects of the client's Plan of Care
• Meal Prep and cooking
• Assist clients with LIGHT housekeeping (vacuuming, sweeping, changing linens, laundry, etc).
• Drive clients to and from medical appointments, grocery store, etc

Qualifications:

• Homecare Aide Certification (HCA)- This is a CA State requirement which involves registering as a Personal Attendant and providing Livescan fingerprints for a FBI Background check - Salus can help you with this process if you are not currently certified.
• TB Test- Must be within 90 days of start
• Must be able to legally work within the USA
• Physical capability to preform all job functions
• Safe driving record and valid auto insurance if you will be driving with clients
• Ability to speak, write, and read English is a requirement
