Job summary

Orange County Homecare, LLC is seeking experienced personal attendant/caregiver professionals who are dedicated and dependable to assist elderly clients and improve their quality of life.

Shift options run from 8am–12pm, 9am–1pm, 10am–2pm, 11am–3pm and 12pm–4pm, and eligibility to drive is required. Compensation is $23 per hour with benefits including holiday pay, sick leave, 401k, and more.

Qualifications

• CA State Homecare Aide Certification (HCA) required.
• TB Test within 90 days of start.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the USA.
• Physical capability to perform all job functions.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance if driving clients.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living.
• Bathing, grooming, personal care, meal prep, toileting, ambulation, medication reminders, social interaction, and more.
• Be oriented and well trained on all aspects of the client’s Plan of Care.
• Meal prep and cooking.
• Assist with light housekeeping (vacuuming, sweeping, changing linens, laundry).
• Drive clients to and from medical appointments, grocery store, etc.

We are needing caregivers available to work these hours must be able to drive and can transfer.

8am to 12pm

9am to 1pm

10am to 2pm

11am to 3pm

12pm to 4pm

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADL's)

• Bathing, grooming, personal care, feeding / meal prep, toileting ambulation, medication reminders, social interaction, and more!

• Be oriented and well trained on ALL aspects of the client’s Plan of Care

• Meal Prep and cooking

• Assist clients with LIGHT housekeeping (vacuuming, sweeping, changing linens, laundry, etc).

• Drive clients to and from medical appointments, grocery store, etc

Qualifications:

• Homecare Aide Certification (HCA)- This is a CA State requirement which involves registering as a Personal Attendant and providing Livescan fingerprints for a FBI Background check - Salus can help you with this process if you are not currently certified.
• TB Test- Must be within 90 days of start
• Must be able to legally work within the USA
• Physical capability to preform all job functions
• Safe driving record and valid auto insurance if you will be driving with clients
• Ability to speak, write, and read English is a requirement
