Job summary

Safe Harbor Home Care is seeking a Personal Care Attendant (Caregiver) in Orange County, CA. You will deliver compassionate, non-medical in-home care to clients, helping with daily activities to maintain independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities include bathing, grooming, personal hygiene, meal prep, mobility support, light housekeeping, errands, transportation, and companionship. Onboarding is required, with shifts ranging 4 to 12 hours and flexible scheduling.

• Must complete all required orientation and onboarding training within 2 weeks of hire
• Eligible to earn up to $19 - $23/ per hour

Job Summary

As a Personal Care Attendant (Caregiver), you will provide compassionate, non-medical care and assistance to clients in their homes and communities. Caregivers support individuals who, due to age, illness, physical limitations, or cognitive challenges, require assistance with daily activities.

Your care helps clients remain safely and comfortably in their homes while maintaining their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities may include assistance with:

• Bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Personal hygiene and oral care
• Feeding and meal preparation
• Mobility assistance, transferring, and ambulation
• Positioning and exercise assistance
• Toileting and incontinence care
• Medication reminders for self-administered medications
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Grocery shopping and errands
• Transportation to appointments and community activities
• Companionship and emotional support
• Assistance with phone calls and correspondence
• Caregivers are expected to provide services in a respectful, compassionate manner while following company policies, state regulations, and industry standards.
