Job summary

Safe Harbor Home Care is seeking a Personal Care Attendant to provide compassionate, non-medical in-home care to clients in their own homes throughout Orange County, CA.

You will assist with daily activities, maintain client independence, and support quality of life while adhering to company policies and state regulations. Overtime opportunities are available and shifts vary from 4 to 12 hours.

Qualifications

• Active Home Care Aide (HCA) Registration is required.
• Current TB test/clearance is required.
• Current work physical is required.
• Must complete all required orientation and onboarding training within 2 weeks of hire.

Responsibilities

• Bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Personal hygiene and oral care.
• Feeding and meal preparation.
• Mobility assistance, transferring, and ambulation.
• Positioning and exercise assistance.
• Toileting and incontinence care.
• Medication reminders for self-administered medications.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Grocery shopping and errands.
• Transportation to appointments and activities.
• Companionship and emotional support.
• Assistance with phone calls and correspondence.

Job Summary
