Salus Homecare is seeking experienced personal attendants to support elderly clients in Orange County, CA. You will provide compassionate in-home care across morning and midday shifts, assist with daily activities, meals, and light housekeeping, and accompany clients to appointments.

Applicants should have a CA HCA certification, be able to drive, and pass a TB test. Strong English skills and reliable, flexible scheduling are essential to join our caregiving team.

Qualifications

• Must hold Homecare Aide Certification (HCA) issued in California.
• TB test completed within 90 days of start date.
• Legal authorization to work in the USA is required.
• Physically capable of providing daily care tasks.
• Safe driving record with valid auto insurance if driving clients.
• Ability to speak, read and write English clearly.

Responsabilités

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Bathing, grooming, personal care, meal prep, toileting and mobility support.
• Follow client Plans of Care and ensure safety.
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping tasks.
• Drive clients to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and activities.

We are looking for experienced personal attendant/caregiver, dedicated, and dependable professionals who enjoy working with the elderly and are committed to help improve their quality of life.

We are needing caregivers available to work these hours must be able to drive and can transfer.

Available Shift Hours

• 8am to 12pm
• 9am to 1pm
• 10am to 2pm
• 11am to 3pm
• 12pm to 4pm

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADL's)
• Bathing, grooming, personal care, feeding / meal prep, toileting ambulation, medication reminders, social interaction, and more!
• Be oriented and well trained on ALL aspects of the client’s Plan of Care
• Meal Prep and cooking
• Assist clients with LIGHT housekeeping (vacuuming, sweeping, changing linens, laundry, etc).
• Drive clients to and from medical appointments, grocery store, etc

Qualifications

• Homecare Aide Certification (HCA) - This is a CA State requirement which involves registering as a Personal Attendant and providing Livescan fingerprints for a FBI Background check - Salus can help you with this process if you are not currently certified.
• TB Test - Must be within 90 days of start
• Must be able to legally work within the USA
• Physical capability to preform all job functions
• Safe driving record and valid auto insurance if you will be driving with clients
• Ability to speak, write, and read English is a requirement
