Safe Harbor Home Care in California is seeking a Personal Care Attendant (Caregiver) to provide compassionate, non-medical in-home support for clients in their own homes.

You will assist with daily activities, including bathing, grooming, meal preparation, mobility, light housekeeping, errands, transportation, and companionship while following company policies and state regulations. Requires active HCA registration, TB clearance, and current work physical; onboarding within 2 weeks.

Qualificações

• Active Home Care Aide (HCA) registration is required.
• Current TB test/clearance is required.
• Current work physical is required.
• Must complete orientation and onboarding within 2 weeks of hire.

Job Summary

As a Personal Care Attendant (Caregiver), you will provide compassionate, non-medical care and assistance to clients in their homes and communities. Caregivers support individuals who, due to age, illness, physical limitations, or cognitive challenges, require assistance with daily activities.

Your care helps clients remain safely and comfortably in their homes while maintaining their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities may include assistance with:

• Bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Personal hygiene and oral care
• Feeding and meal preparation
• Mobility assistance, transferring, and ambulation
• Positioning and exercise assistance
• Toileting and incontinence care
• Medication reminders for self-administered medications

• Assistance with phone calls and correspondence
• Caregivers are expected to provide services in a respectful, compassionate manner while following company policies, state regulations, and industry standards.
