Job summary

Salus Homecare - Orange County is seeking experienced personal attendants/caregivers who are dedicated to helping the elderly improve their quality of life. Roles require 4-hour shifts in Orange County, CA, with a schedule including mornings on various times.

The team offers benefits and flexible hours to accommodate caregivers and clients alike. Responsibilities include ADL assistance, bathing, meal prep, light housekeeping, driving to appointments, and following each client’s Plan of Care.

Qualifications

• Homecare Aide Certification (HCA) – CA registration and Livescan fingerprints.
• TB test within 90 days of start.
• Must be legally able to work in the USA.
• Physical ability to perform all job functions.
• Safe driving record and valid auto insurance if driving with clients.
• Ability to speak, write, and read English.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADL's).
• Bathing, grooming, personal care, meals, toileting and ambulation, reminders and social interaction.
• Be oriented and trained on all aspects of the client’s Plan of Care.
• Meal prep and cooking.
• Assist clients with light housekeeping (vacuuming, sweeping, laundry, etc.).
• Drive clients to appointments, grocery store, and other activities.

We need male or female that is able to work 4 hour shifts.

Morning shifts

• 8am to 12pm
• 9am to 1pm
• 10am to 2pm

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADL's)
• Bathing, grooming, personal care, feeding / meal prep, toileting ambulation, medication reminders, social interaction, and more!
• Be oriented and well trained on ALL aspects of the client’s Plan of Care
• Meal Prep and cooking
• Assist clients with LIGHT housekeeping (vacuuming, sweeping, changing linens, laundry, etc).
• Drive clients to and from medical appointments, grocery store, etc

Qualifications:

• Homecare Aide Certification (HCA)- This is a CA State requirement which involves registering as a Personal Attendant and providing Livescan fingerprints for a FBI Background check - Salus can help you with this process if you are not currently certified.
• TB Test- Must be within 90 days of start
• Must be able to legally work within the USA
• Physical capability to preform all job functions
• Safe driving record and valid auto insurance if you will be driving with clients
• Ability to speak, write, and read English is a requirement
