Qualifications

• HCA certification required; CA state registrations and Livescan may be assisted by Salus Homecare.
• TB test within 90 days of start date.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the USA; valid auto insurance if driving.
• Ability to transfer a patient and speak, read, and write English.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Bathing, grooming, personal care, meal prep and feeding, toileting, ambulation, reminders and social interaction.
• Be oriented and well trained on all aspects of the client's Plan of Care.
• Meal prep and cooking; light housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming, linens, laundry.
• Drive clients to medical appointments and errands as needed.

The job is located in Irvine.

Looking for male caregivers that have knowledge using a Hoyer lift and handle a male bed bound patient that has a catheter.

Shift needed are 12 hour shift 7am to 7pm Friday Saturday and Sunday.

8 hour night shift 10pm to 7am Friday Saturday and Sunday.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADL's)
• Bathing, grooming, personal care, feeding / meal prep, toileting ambulation, medication reminders, social interaction, and more!
• Be oriented and well trained on ALL aspects of the client's Plan of Care
• Meal Prep and cooking
• Assist clients with LIGHT housekeeping (vacuuming, sweeping, changing linens, laundry, etc).
• Drive clients to and from medical appointments, grocery store, etc

Qualifications:

• Homecare Aide Certification (HCA) - This is a CA State requirement which involves registering as a Personal Attendant and providing Livescan fingerprints for a FBI Background check - Salus can help you with this process if you are not currently certified.
• TB Test - Must be within 90 days of start
• Must be able to legally work within the USA
• Physical capability to preform all job functions
• Safe driving record and valid auto insurance if you will be driving with clients
• Must be able to transfer a patient
• Ability to speak, write, and read English is a requirement
