Job summary

Salus Homecare in Orange County, CA is seeking experienced personal attendants to assist elderly clients and improve quality of life. Morning shifts are 8am–12pm, 9am–1pm, and 10am–2pm, with 4-hour blocks and $20–$23 per hour.

Responsibilities include ADL care, meal prep, light housekeeping, and driving clients to appointments. Certifications include HCA, TB test, legal work status, and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write English.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, feeding and medication reminders.
• Meal prep and cooking, light housekeeping, linen changes and laundry.
• Provide transportation to medical appointments, groceries, and other errands.
• Be oriented and well trained on all aspects of the client’s Plan of Care.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADL's)
• Bathing, grooming, personal care, feeding / meal prep, toileting ambulation, medication reminders, social interaction, and more!
• Be oriented and well trained on ALL aspects of the client’s Plan of Care
• Meal Prep and cooking
• Assist clients with LIGHT housekeeping (vacuuming, sweeping, changing linens, laundry, etc).
• Drive clients to and from medical appointments, grocery store, etc

Qualifications:

• Homecare Aide Certification (HCA)- This is a CA State requirement which involves registering as a Personal Attendant and providing Livescan fingerprints for a FBI Background check - Salus can help you with this process if you are not currently certified.
• TB Test- Must be within 90 days of start
• Must be able to legally work within the USA
• Physical capability to preform all job functions
• Safe driving record and valid auto insurance if you will be driving with clients
• Ability to speak, write, and read English is a requirement
