Job summary

Salus Homecare is seeking compassionate caregivers to work in Oceanside, Carlsbad, La Costa, Encinitas, Solana Beach, Carmel Valley and La Jolla. Shifts include days and nights with 4, 8, or 12 hours, seven days a week. A $200 sign-in bonus is offered after 250 hours within six months to recognize dedication.

Responsibilities include ADL support, personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, and driving clients to appointments. You must obtain a CA HCA certification and TB test prior to start.

Qualifications

• Certified Homecare Aide (HCA) required or pursuing certification.
• TB test within 90 days before start.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the USA.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Provide personal care, bathing, grooming and meal prep.
• Perform light housekeeping and home maintenance as needed.
• Drive clients to appointments and accompany them when required.

We are looking for candidates that are available Monday to Sunday 7 days a week hours available are 4 hours, 8 hours, and 12 hours. Clients are one on one and shifts are days and nights. • Pay Rates - $18.00-$23.00

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADL's)
• Bathing, grooming, personal care, feeding / meal prep, toileting ambulation, medication reminders, social interaction, and more!
• Be oriented and well trained on ALL aspects of the client's Plan of Care
• Meal Prep and cooking
• Assist clients with LIGHT housekeeping (vacuuming, sweeping, changing linens, laundry, etc).
• Drive clients to and from medical appointments, grocery store, etc

Qualifications

• Homecare Aide Certification (HCA) - This is a CA State requirement which involves registering as a Personal Attendant and providing Livescan fingerprints for a FBI Background check - Salus can help you with this process if you are not currently certified.
• TB Test - Must be within 90 days of start
• Must be able to legally work within the USA
• Physical capability to preform all job functions
• Safe driving record and valid auto insurance if you will be driving with clients
• Ability to speak, write, and read English is a requirement
