Job summary

QSL Management in Flowood is seeking a Personal Assistant to support assisted living and memory care residents. The role involves providing companionship and assistance with daily living activities while fostering an engaging environment.

Ideal candidates are compassionate, possess a High School Diploma or GED, and ideally, hold a CNA certification. The position offers a flexible schedule and an opportunity to positively impact the lives of older adults.

Qualifications

• Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others.
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred.
• CPR/First Aid preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports assisted living and memory care residents.
• Reports health changes and completes daily data sheets.
• Assists residents with memory and performance improvement programs.
• Performs light housekeeping and laundry.
• Assists with dining as needed.
• Engages residents in activities.

We are currently looking for a Personal Assistant for The Blake at Flowood

Primary Responsibilities of the Personal Assistant:

• Supports our assisted living and memory care residents by providing companionship, supportive listening and activities of daily living, i.e. bathing, dressing, feeding, etc.
• Reporting changes in the health and status of the resident and completing daily data sheets to record progress.
• Assists residents with memory and performance improvement programs.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Assists with dining as needed or directed by leadership team.
• Assists with activities to keep residents engaged and happy.

Requirements

• Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others
• High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred but not required unless state requirement
• CPR/First Aid, preferred
• Must be flexible and prepared to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays
• Experience working with older adults preferred
