Job summary

QSL Management is seeking a Part-Time Personal Assistant for The Blake at Carnes Crossroads in Goose Creek, South Carolina. This role involves supporting assisted living residents through daily activities and companionship while maintaining a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess a caring heart, have a High School Diploma or equivalent, and experience working with older adults. A CNA certification is preferred. The position requires flexibility and the ability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supports residents by providing companionship and activities of daily living.
• Reports changes in residents' health and completes daily data sheets.
• Assists residents with memory and performance improvement programs.
• Light housekeeping and laundry tasks.
• Assists with dining and keeps residents engaged.

We are currently looking for a Part-Time Personal Assistant for The Blake at Carnes Crossroads

Primary Responsibilities

• Supports our assisted living and memory care residents by providing companionship, supportive listening and activities of daily living, i.e. bathing, dressing, feeding, etc.
• Reporting changes in the health and status of the resident and completing daily data sheets to record progress.
• Assists residents with memory and performance improvement programs.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Assists with dining as needed or directed by leadership team.
• Assists with activities to keep residents engaged and happy.

Requirements

• Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others
• High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred but not required unless state requirement
• CPR/First Aid, preferred
• Must be flexible and prepared to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays
• Experience working with older adults preferred
