    What She's Looking For

    She's looking for someone who:

    • Is highly organized and detail oriented.
    • Is proactive and takes initiative without waiting for instructions.
    • Is reliable, communicative, and adaptable.
    • Is comfortable giving constructive feedback.
    • Is excited to contribute ideas that improve the business.
    • Enjoys wearing many different hats and thrives in a fast paced, constantly changing environment.
    • Maintains professionalism and discretion when handling business communications and personal matters.
    Success in This Role

Success in this role means helping her spend less time managing logistics and more time creating.

    A successful assistant will:

    • Proactively identify next steps and keep projects moving without constant direction.
    • Keep her accountable by reminding her of deadlines, appointments, and priorities.
    • Anticipate problems and present solutions before they become issues.
    • Keep her updated on progress without her needing to ask.
    • Continuously improve systems, workflows, and processes to make the business run more efficiently.
    • Look for ways to save time, reduce mental load, and make her life easier.
    • Think like a partner by asking, "What can I take off her plate?" instead of "What should I do next?"

The goal is for her to feel confident that the operational side of her business is being handled so she can focus on creating content and growing the business.

    Trial Period

Since this is a close working relationship, she'd like to start with a trial period to see if they're a good fit for each other. This gives both parties the opportunity to learn how they work together and determine whether it's the right long term fit.

If everything goes well, the position will transition into a regular role with consistent weekly hours and increasing responsibility over time.

Ultimately, she's not just looking for someone to complete tasks. She's looking for someone who wants to become an integral part of the business, take ownership, and help build systems that allow it to grow.

    Position Details

Location: Must be based in NYC and willing to travel to Brooklyn for in person work.

Hours: Approximately 10 hours per week during the trial period. If it's a good fit, the role will grow into a more consistent position, typically 20 to 30 hours per week depending on workload.

    Compensation: $25/hour

Schedule: Most work will take place between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM on weekdays. However, occasional evening or weekend availability is expected for content shoots, events, travel, or other time sensitive projects.

Work Environment: This is a flexible role where every week looks a little different. Some weeks may involve more administrative work, while others may be focused on content shoots, events, or travel. She's looking for someone who enjoys variety and can adapt as priorities change.
