Job summary

The Blake at Biloxi is seeking a compassionate Personal Assistant to support residents in a senior living environment. You will provide companionship, assist with activities of daily living, and monitor health changes as part of a supportive team.

Responsibilities include documenting progress, memory and wellness activities, light housekeeping, dining assistance, and keeping residents engaged throughout the day.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CNA certification preferred but not required by state.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Experience with older adults preferred.
• Must be flexible to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and supportive listening to residents.
• Report changes in health/status and complete daily data sheets.
• Assist with memory and performance improvement programs for residents.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry tasks.
• Assist with dining and feeding as needed by residents.
• Engage residents in activities to keep them engaged and happy.

We are currently looking for a Personal Assistant for The Blake at Biloxi

Primary Responsibilities of the Personal Assistant:

• Supports our assisted living and memory care residents by providing companionship, supportive listening and activities of daily living, i.e. bathing, dressing, feeding, etc.
• Reporting changes in the health and status of the resident and completing daily data sheets to record progress.
• Assists residents with memory and performance improvement programs.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Assists with dining as needed or directed by leadership team.
• Assists with activities to keep residents engaged and happy.

Requirements

• Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others
• High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred but not required unless state requirement
• CPR/First Aid, preferred
• Must be flexible and prepared to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays
• Experience working with older adults preferred
