Job summary

QSL Management is seeking a Personal Assistant for The Blake at Biloxi to support residents with companionship, daily living activities, and safety. The role emphasizes genuine care, empathy, and a patient, respectful approach to elder care.

You will assist with meals, dressing, bathing as needed, and help residents participate in memory and wellness programs. A CNA is preferred but not required; CPR/First Aid are a bonus.

Qualifications

• Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others.
• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Current CNA certification preferred but not required unless state requirement.
• CPR/First Aid, preferred.
• Must be flexible and prepared to work weekends and holidays.
• Experience working with older adults preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and supportive listening to residents.
• Report health/status changes and complete daily progress sheets.
• Assist residents with memory and performance improvement activities.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry tasks.
• Assist with dining and meal service as needed.
• Engage residents in activities to promote wellbeing.

We are currently looking for a Personal Assistant for The Blake at Biloxi

Primary Responsibilities of the Personal Assistant:

• Supports our assisted living and memory care residents by providing companionship, supportive listening and activities of daily living, i.e. bathing, dressing, feeding, etc.
• Reporting changes in the health and status of the resident and completing daily data sheets to record progress.
• Assists residents with memory and performance improvement programs.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Assists with dining as needed or directed by leadership team.
• Assists with activities to keep residents engaged and happy.

Requirements

• Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others
