Job summary

QSL Management is seeking a Personal Assistant for The Blake at LPGA in Daytona Beach, FL. This full-time night position runs from 7pm to 7am, supporting residents with companionship, daily living activities, and engagement.

Preferred CNA certification and CPR/First Aid, along with a HS diploma. You will report health changes, help with meals and activities, and maintain a safe, compassionate environment for older adults.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CNA certification preferred but not required unless state requires.
• CPR/First Aid preferred.
• Experience working with older adults preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and activities of daily living for residents.
• Report health/status changes and complete daily data sheets.
• Assist residents with memory and performance improvement programs.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Assist with dining and keep residents engaged and happy.

We are currently looking for a Personal Assistant for The Blake at The Blake at LPGA.

Primary Responsibilities of the Personal Assistant:

• Supports our assisted living and memory care residents by providing companionship, supportive listening and activities of daily living, i.e. bathing, dressing, feeding, etc.
• Reporting changes in the health and status of the resident and completing daily data sheets to record progress.
• Assists residents with memory and performance improvement programs.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Assists with dining as needed or directed by leadership team.
• Assists with activities to keep residents engaged and happy.

Requirements

• Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others
• High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred but not required unless state requirement
• CPR/First Aid, preferred
• Must be flexible and prepared to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays
• Experience working with older adults preferred
