Job summary

QSL Management, based in Louisiana, seeks a Personal Assistant for The Blake at Bossier City to support residents in assisted living and memory care with companionship and daily activities.

The role requires a caring heart and a High School Diploma; CNA is preferred but not required depending on state rules. CPR/First Aid is a plus, and weekend/holiday shifts are common.

Qualifications

• Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others.
• High School Diploma/GED Equivalent.
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred but not required unless state requirement.
• CPR/First Aid, preferred.
• Must be flexible and prepared to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Experience working with older adults preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports our assisted living residents by providing companionship and daily living assistance.
• Reports changes in resident health and records progress on daily data sheets.
• Assists residents with memory and performance improvement programs.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Assists with dining as needed and keeps residents engaged.

We are currently looking for a Personal Assistant for The Blake at Bossier City.

Primary Responsibilities of the Personal Assistant:

• Supports our assisted living and memory care residents by providing companionship, supportive listening and activities of daily living, i.e. bathing, dressing, feeding, etc.
• Reporting changes in the health and status of the resident and completing daily data sheets to record progress.
• Assists residents with memory and performance improvement programs.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Assists with dining as needed or directed by leadership team.
• Assists with activities to keep residents engaged and happy.
