Job summary

UCP Heartland is seeking compassionate Personal Assistants (Direct Care Providers) for full-time 9PM-9AM shifts in Saint Louis, MO. You will provide daily living assistance to clients with disabilities, follow care plans, and help organize activities and community outings.

The role requires a high school diploma, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation. Training is provided, and benefits include medical and dental coverage, vision, and more.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Clean driving record and completion of drivers training.
• A minimum of one weekend shift per weekend.
• Experience with disabilities or in a customer service role is preferred.
• Ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision.
• Good written and oral communication skills.

As a PERSONAL ASSISTNAT/DSP (Direct Care Provider)you will perform the following responsibilities:

Provide physical assistance with daily tasks, assist with personal hygiene and facilitate fun activities.

Follow medical orders and administer medications.

Most importantly,provide choices to the clients for their daily activities to provide entertainment and community outings

MINIMUM EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:

• High School diploma or its equivalent (GED).
• Clean Driving Record and successfully completes and maintains assigned drivers training
• A MINIMUM OF ONE WEEKEND SHIFT PER WEEKEND
• Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or in a customer service field
• Ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to consistently work in a professional, cooperative manner with all Agency clients and personnel.
• Good written and oral communication skills

THIS POSITION DOES REQUIRE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION, VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE WITH CLEAN DRIVING RECORD!

THIS POSITION REQUIRES 5-7 DAYS OF MANDATORY TRAINING AT OUR CORPORATE OFFICE Monday through Friday 8:45 AM - 4:15 PM
