Job summary

Milrose Consultants, LLC in New York City is seeking a Project Manager, Permitting to coordinate municipal filings, reviews, and approvals. You will back up the Senior Project Manager, manage end-to-end permitting tasks, and maintain accurate records.

The role is hybrid in NYC, with standard hours, travel to client sites as needed, and a salary range of $75,000–$90,000 plus health, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in the construction or permitting industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, urban planning, engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task and work independently.
• Knowledge of Microsoft software; strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as backup to Senior Project Manager, tracking milestones, filings, permits, approvals, and occupancy updates.
• Manage projects end-to-end, ensuring quality control, timely deliverables, and accurate records.
• Review new projects, gather required information, and prepare municipality applications (filings, permits, objections, variances).
• Facilitate team communication and provide guidance or training to personnel.
• Attend city/jurisdictional meetings, understand regulations, and represent the company professionally.
• Collaborate with design/development teams and interpret plans, maps, and construction documents.
• Assist with project-related accounting, billing, and reporting.
