Job summary

CCI Systems, Inc. is seeking a Permitting Operations Manager in Albuquerque, NM to lead end-to-end permitting across projects, ensuring accuracy, compliance, timeliness, and financial soundness.

You will own workflows, capacity planning, subcontractor strategies, and performance metrics, partnering with Engineering, Operations, Business Development, and customers to build a scalable, data-driven permitting organization aligned with growth objectives.

Qualifications

• Progressive leadership experience in permitting operations across transportation or utilities.
• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in a related field preferred.
• Experience leading managers, teams, and subcontractors in high-volume environments.
• Strong knowledge of permitting workflows from design to approval.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead day-to-day and strategic permitting operations execution across projects.
• Establish standardized workflows, quality controls, and production expectations.
• Ensure permitting milestones align with project schedules and client SLA.
• Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements to reduce cycle time.
• Use dashboards and metrics to improve first-pass approvals and throughput.
• Oversee resourcing, staffing, and subcontractor utilization to meet workload and growth.
