Job summary

Tri-State Water, Power & Air is seeking a Permitting & Installation Coordinator to support our Nashville operations. The role focuses on obtaining permits, coordinating installation schedules, and serving as the main contact for homeowners throughout the permitting and installation process.

Ideal candidates will have experience in permitting, strong knowledge of local municipal processes, and excellent communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

  • Experience in permitting, construction coordination, or home services preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of permitting processes and local municipalities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project tracking tools.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changes.

Responsibilities

  • Permit Management: obtain, track, and maintain permits and approvals.
  • Government Liaison: liaise with municipal offices to move permits forward.
  • Installation Coordination: schedule projects with installation teams and timelines.
  • Customer Support: be primary contact for homeowners during permitting and installation.
  • Documentation: maintain records of permits, inspections, and approvals.
  • Issue Resolution: identify and resolve permit roadblocks.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: collaborate with internal teams and contractors.

What You’ll Do:
  • Permit Management: Obtain, track, and maintain permits, licenses, and inspection approvals to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Government Liaison: Communicate with municipal offices to move permit applications forward and troubleshoot delays.
  • Installation Coordination: Work closely with installation teams to schedule projects, monitor timelines, and resolve conflicts.
  • Customer Support: Act as the primary point of contact for homeowners, keeping them informed and supported throughout the permitting and installation process.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of permits, inspections, and approvals.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve permit- related roadblocks to avoid project delays.
  • Cross- Team Collaboration: Work with internal departments, contractors, and customers to ensure smooth project flow.
    • Experience in permitting, construction coordination, or home services (preferred)
    • Strong knowledge of permitting processes and working with local municipalities
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project tracking tools
    • Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills
