Tri-State Water, Power & Air is hiring a Residential Electrician for the DFW area to lead generator installations, wiring, ATS connections, and service upgrades with precision and pride.

You will work on full-time, year-round projects, ensuring safety and code compliance while delivering top-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Licensed Journeyman Electrician with residential experience.
• Experience with wiring, panels, and service upgrades.
• Knowledge of NEC and local codes is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead residential standby generator installations and ATS systems.
• Complete wiring, conduit, panel upgrades, and service installations per code.
• Troubleshoot, test, and verify installations for safety and reliability.
• Collaborate with plumbers, installers, and homeowners to ensure excellent customer experience.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
• Accurately complete job documentation and communicate project updates.

At Tri-State Water, Power & Air, we don't just install generators, we help homeowners protect what matters most. As a Residential Electrician on our Generator Installation Team, you'll lead residential standby generator installations, completing electrical connections, automatic transfer switch (ATS) installations, and service upgrades with precision, professionalism, and pride.

This is a full-time position offering $26-$30 per hour, based on experience, with consistent work, opportunities for advancement, and the chance to be part of a growing team that values quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.

What You'll Do

• Lead electrical installations for whole-home standby generators and ATS systems
• Complete wiring, conduit, panel upgrades, and service installations in accordance with code
• Troubleshoot, test, and verify installations to ensure safe and reliable operation
• Work closely with plumbers, installers, and homeowners to deliver an exceptional customer experience
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
• Accurately complete job documentation and communicate project updates

What We're Looking For

• Licensed Journeyman Electrician (or equivalent residential electrical experience)
• Experience with residential wiring, electrical panels, and service upgrades
• Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local electrical codes
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Safety-focused with a strong attention to detail
• Dependable, self-motivated, and team-oriented
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
