Job summary

Tri-State Water, Power & Air is seeking a skilled Electrician for our Longview, TX location. You will manage electrical components of generator installations, verify site conditions, and support testing and commissioning.

We value safety, teamwork, and a strong work ethic as you collaborate with the Power Team to ensure reliable fuel connections and compliant installations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of electrical experience in generator installations.
• Able to read site conditions and plan wiring/panel connections.
• Proactive with safety and testing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Handle electrical components of generator installations.
• Evaluate site conditions and determine optimal install locations.
• Assist testing, ATS setup, load and voltage checks.
• Coordinate with plumbers for fuel system connections.

Tri-State Water, Power & Air has been a home improvement leader for over 30 years - and we’re growing! From our Longview location, we specialize in Whole House Standby Generator sales and service and are looking for a skilled Electrician to join our expanding Power Team.

What You’ll Do:

• Handle all electrical components of generator installations, including wiring and panel connections.
• Evaluate site conditions and help determine optimal install locations.
• Support testing and commissioning, including ATS setup, load testing, and voltage checks.
• Collaborate with plumbers to ensure safe and proper fuel system connections (propane or natural gas).

What You Need:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• 3+ years of electrical experience; 4th-year apprentice or journeyman license highly preferred.
• Strong work ethic, team mindset, and ability to lift/move heavy equipment.
