Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Permit Coordinator in Morrisville, NC to support the permit application process for multi-family and amenity projects. You will gather documents from engineers, coordinate approvals, and submit applications to relevant agencies and boards.

The role requires blueprint reading ability, strong organization, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. A valid driver's license and MS Office proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; College degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience with single/multi-family and amenity permitting.
• Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize and take initiative.
• Ability to read blueprints and plot plans.
• Detail-oriented, team player; able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Obtain documents from Engineers and Architects to facilitate permit applications.
• Obtain approvals for permits and liaise between the company and municipalities.
• Prepare and submit applications to agencies/boards with jurisdiction over permits.
• Review plans for correct revision dates and start packages for accuracy.
• Coordinate paperwork with outside consultants as necessary.
