You will coordinate with municipalities, inspectors, field technicians, project managers, and internal teams to maintain accurate permit records, track status, and ensure timely approvals while staying compliant with city, county, and state requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in permitting, construction administration, compliance, or related field.
• Ability to learn and navigate multiple municipal permitting systems.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, submit, and track permit applications for plumbing, HVAC, and electrical work.
• Research permitting requirements for various municipalities and jurisdictions.
• Maintain accurate permit records, fees, inspections, and project docs.
• Coordinate inspections with municipalities and communicate requirements to field staff.
• Monitor permit status and follow up on approvals or corrections.
• Ensure permits are assigned to correct jobs and technicians.
• Review submissions for completeness and accuracy.
• Provide regular updates to management on status and issues.
• Suggest process improvements to reduce delays and boost efficiency.
