Job summary

Gilmore Heating, Air, & Plumbing, now part of TurnPoint Services, seeks a Permits Coordinator to ensure compliance with local building departments for timely installations. This role thrives in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with customers, municipalities, and internal teams to build and enforce permitting processes.

You bring 2+ years in the trades, experience with municipalities and building codes, and strong organization and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in the trades industry, preferably managing permits/rebates.
• Experience with municipalities and familiarity with electric, plumbing, and building codes.
• ServiceTitan experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• High integrity and strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• File, schedule, and close all permits for installation and service work.
• Schedule pre- and post-site inspections with customers and municipalities.
• Coordinate utility shut-offs and inspections with utilities and agencies.
• Collaborate with Install Coordinators, Frontline Managers, and Dispatch to meet town requirements.
• Support conversion jobs by maintaining accurate paperwork.
• Maintain and renew local/state licenses.
• Compile weekly and monthly permit reports.
• Develop and manage permitting procedures.
• Oversee rebate processing and respond to inquiries.
• Manage equipment registration in CRM with manufacturers.
