Job summary

Gilmore Heating, Air, & Plumbing, now part of TurnPoint Services, seeks a Purchasing Coordinator to source HVAC and plumbing materials and manage inventories. You will support technicians by ensuring timely availability of parts, pricing, and vendor coordination.

Responsibilities include processing POs, tracking orders, audits, and cost-saving initiatives while collaborating across service, installation, and warehouse teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years purchasing, inventory management, or administrative experience.
• HVAC, plumbing, or home services industry experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; ERP/ServiceTitan experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Purchase HVAC, plumbing, and related materials and supplies.
• Monitor inventory levels and reorder stock to prevent shortages.
• Coordinate with service, installation, and warehouse teams.
• Obtain pricing, negotiate costs, and maintain vendor relationships.
• Process purchase orders and document purchases accurately.
• Track orders from placement to delivery and resolve shipping issues.
• Maintain inventory records and conduct periodic audits.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities with vendors.
• Assist with fleet, warehouse, and operational purchasing as needed.
• Ensure compliance with purchasing policies.
