Job summary

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid Florida driver’s license, and ICC Permit Technician Certification within one year of hire. This is a full-time, on-site role with regular weekday hours.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with building and engineering permit information.
• Process a high volume of building permit applications and tax receipts.
• Review applications for compliance with LDR, state statutes, and city codes.
• Support review and preparation of plans, specs, and construction documents.
• Perform data entry, filing, reception and clerical tasks; frequent public contact.
