Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC is seeking a Permit Technician I to support the permitting process by preparing permit applications, organizing documentation, and coordinating with internal teams and external agencies. The Permit Technician I supports the permitting process by assisting with permit application preparation, document management, and coordination with internal teams and external agencies. This role works under the guidance of experienced team members to ensure permits are submitted accurately and processed in a timely manner while developing knowledge of applicable codes, regulations, and permitting procedures.
Assist in preparing and submitting permit applications for multiple projects. Gather and organize required documentation, forms, and project information to support permit submissions. Track permit application statuses and maintain accurate permitting records. Communicate with municipalities, vendors, utility providers, and internal stakeholders to obtain required information and updates. Coordinate and schedule inspections throughout various phases of project development. Review permit packages to ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted on time. Maintain organized records including permit applications, approvals, inspection reports, receipts, and related documentation. Review basic construction plans and project details to verify all required information is included before submission. Identify potential permitting issues or delays and elevate concerns to the appropriate team members. Provide administrative and project support to the permitting and project management teams. Communicate project and permit status updates to internal stakeholders. Assist the team in meeting project schedules, milestones, and deadlines.
