We're looking for a highly motivated , customer service-oriented professional to fill a Permit Technician position. The ideal candidate brings outstanding customer service skills and enjoys working on development permits. In this role, you will join a fast-paced , dynamic team environment. Using strong communication skills, you will thrive on a high volume of daily interactions with internal and external customers via email, phone, virtually, or at the Permit Center public counter. The Permit Technician role has diverse applications and focused on residential permits. This position receives direct supervision from the Permit Center Coordinator and may assist with training of other staff members. Fine Print. The annual salary range for a Permit Technician is $94,057 - $114,290; with a 5-step scale. Pay beyond the control point may be awarded for exceptional experience and qualifications upon hire and/or for meritorious performance while serving.
