GENERAL PURPOSE:
Effectively advise account executives as to what types and sizes of signs are allowed, where the customer is located and assist them to resolve issues with ordinance requirements. Prepare permit applications as required in each jurisdiction and attend any hearings for conditional or special circumstance as needed. Talk and negotiate with planners about signs that do not meet the specified ordinance.

TRAINING & QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: A High School Diploma or GED and six months or more of related experience and/or training; or any combination of education, experience. Must have a clean driving record.
COMPUTER SKILLS: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software; Accounting software; Payroll systems; Order Processing systems; Database software and Contract Management systems
LANUAGE SKILLS: Ability to communicate in person and electronically. Ability to read and interpret documents such as city ordinances. Ability to write out sign applications and correspondence.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and length, distance, width, and area.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to read and interpret blue prints and engineering.
