WECTEC Staffing Services, a Westinghouse affiliate, seeks a Permit Project Manager to lead the permitting process for renewable energy facilities across multiple jurisdictions. You will work with AHJs to obtain permits and align timelines with the overall project schedule.
The role requires 5+ years in permitting or regulatory compliance, experience on renewable energy or major infrastructure projects, and a solid understanding of building codes and permitting processes.

About the role: The Permit Project Manager is responsible for managing and facilitating the permitting process. This process is to build renewable energy facilities. The manager works directly with Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs) to obtain all permits required. These permits are necessary to build and operate the facility. Renewable energy facilities include solar, wind, battery energy storage, and associated transmission and substation infrastructure. They will also have proven abilities to facilitate project progress, identify and apply lessons learned, foresee and manage project risk. Furthermore, they will create tools and standardize work practices to maximize the efficiency and success of current and future projects.
